Order a project specially made for you or your loved one!
The beauty of special orders is that the options are
endless, and the finished piece will be made exactly to your
preferences and ideas. Whether the piece is for you or a
friend or loved one, a handmade gift is a gift which has
value (both monetary and sentimental) beyond any other.
Price will vary based on the complexity of the project (see
below). A 1/3 deposit is required on orders costing over
$50. I accept PayPal and cash (see terms and conditions).
The rest of the payment is due upon completion of project.
Take a look at my portfolio to see some of my finished
hand-made pieces. If you have any pictures or ideas or any
other bits of inspiration I am happy to help you develop and
turn those ideas into a completed piece of art.
We will communicate via email and by phone conversation also. I
believe speaking about it over the phone is much more
efficient than just email communication, which can be
unclear and vague.
Any and all repairs needed for items hand-made by me will be
completed by me free of cost.
Handspun Yarns
- Your choice of fiber (wool, alpaca, etc.).
- Your choice of color (dyed or natural color).
- Your choice of weight (lace-weight, fingering, sport, DK,
worsted, bulky, etc.).
Add-ins available (beads, sparkle, sequins, etc.).
Price varies based on weight and yardage of yarn, cost of
fiber (if I have to supply the fiber). For example, although
a thinner weight yarn uses less fiber than a worsted or
bulky yarn, it takes me much longer to prepare and spin the
fiber.
Note: I do not spin so-called "art yarns".
General Pricing Guide For Handpsun Yarn
This is a general guide, price varies based on actual fiber
content, total yardage, dyed, add-ins, etc. Dyed - add extra
$5.00 to lower yardage, extra $10.00 for higher yardage.
Lace weight (<25 WPI, <4000YPP)
500 yards, natural undyed wool - $50.00
1,000 yards, natural undyed wool - $75.00
500 yards, natural undyed suri alpaca - $60.00 *unless you
supply the fiber, then cost is as above
1,000 yards, natural undyed suri alpaca - $85.00 *unless you
supply fiber, then cost is as above
Fingering (18-25WPI)
400 yards, natural undyed wool - $50.00
800 yards, natural undyed wool - $70.00
DK (12-15WPI)
250 yards, natural undyed wool - $30.00
500 yards, natural undyed wool - $50.00
Worsted (~10 WPI)
150 yards, natural undyed wool - $30.00
350 yards, natural undyed wool - $45.00
I do not yet have capacity to spin yarn thicker than 10WPI
(worsted or aran yarn).
Hand-crocheted Pieces
Shawls, sweaters, dresses, bags, skirts, tops, table
settings, gloves, necklaces, etc.

If you would like, I can hand-spin yarn, or use commercial
yarn of your choosing (if you are not sure, I will suggest
some to you). Add-ins available (beads, appliqués, etc.)
Needle-felted
Appliqués
I do not do custom needle-felted portraits or sculptures,
but I am able to needle felt small appliques or extras for a
hand-crocheted piece (flowers, vines, needle-felted locks of
wool onto edging or collar, small teddy bears, etc.)
Terms and Conditions
1/3 non-refundable deposit required on orders costing over
$50.00. Rest of payment required upon completion of project.
Methods of payment: PayPal, Western Union, check, cash. Note
for checks: All payments sent by means of a bank check must
clear prior to shipment of completed project. This process
may take up to two weeks (time for mailed check to arrive to
me, time for check to clear in my bank account).
Returns not accepted on items costing over $100.00, except
in the case that the item arrives damaged, stained, ripped,
or otherwise compromised.
Any and all repairs needed for items hand-made by me will be
